Carescape B850 patient monitor
B850 GE Healthcare Carescape Monitor
Display Size: 10.4inch, LED
Description
Designed by clinicians, for clinicians—it offers flexibility, scalability, and exceptional customization all in one user-friendly system that’s tailored to fit how you work and handle patient data. All built in a platform designed for the future.
Make your investment work for the long-term
The CARESCAPE B850 monitor makes integration seamless because it’s flexible. With additional expansion and support for up to seven parameter modules, clinicians can easily flex the monitoring capabilities to meet changing patient acuity. Because technology is evolving, the modular design of the CARESCAPE B850 monitor allows new parameters to easily be added and shared with other CARESCAPE monitors across your ecosystem.
Personalize your view
Anesthesiologists and surgeons will appreciate the support for two 19-inch, non-glare, independent displays, allowing each to prioritize their unique information on a dedicated display. With an option for two mirrored displays, NICUs, ICUs, and isolation rooms can benefit from having one display in the patient room and a second display where caregivers can interact with the monitor without disturbing the patient.
Highly configurable to meet your needs
Software tailored to your care areas
Enterprise connectivity made effortless
The CARESCAPE monitoring platform is built on open architecture and industry standards to integrate fully and easily within your hospital infrastructure and preserve your legacy investments.
Clinical intelligence from multiple sources, like the telemetry system, lab results, medications, the MUSE™ cardiology information system, and more, can be brought directly to the bedside.
Because no two hospitals are the same
Because you depend on accuracy
Offering consistent algorithms throughout the CARESCAPE monitoring platform, the CARESCAPE B850 monitor incorporates advanced features such as smart lead fail and four simultaneous lead arrhythmia analysis enabled through GE Healthcare’s trusted EK-Pro algorithm. The monitor also offers a wide range of basic to advanced clinical parameters like regional oximetry (rSO2), Perfusion Index (PI®), plethysmography variability index (Pvi®) and total hemoglobin (SpHb®) from a collaboration with major manufacturers like Medtronic and Masimo.
Workflows are streamlined by performing a diagnostic quality 12-lead EKG at the bedside using 12SL; further clinical context is provided directly at the bedside through a serial comparison powered by GE Healthcare’s MUSE NX cardiology information system. An additional benefit of the 12SL algorithm is consistent QT and QTc measurements to help identify patients at risk for sudden cardiac arrest.
Support clinical decision making
Clinicians need tools to help them quickly identify changes in patient status to determine the appropriate clinical care. The CARESCAPE portfolio includes tools that assist with clinical decision support, such as customizable page views for neurology, respiratory, cardiac, or other specialty views to quickly assess a patient’s condition at a glance.
- SPV and PPV parameter measurements may quickly assess a patient’s responsiveness to fluids
- GE Healthcare’s metabolics package can quickly help assess energy expenditure vs. caloric intake to help wean patients
- Reference templates provide easy identification of ST segment changes to quickly identify an ST elevation or depression, providing faster response to a myocardial infarction (MI)
Whether using histograms, mini-trends, or supplementing the CARESCAPE software with additional GE Healthcare tools such as serial comparison from the MUSE cardiology information system, CARESCAPE patient monitors help support clinicians make informed clinical decisions.
